About the Business

Welcome to the Maple Leaf Restaurant, the Czech Snitzel House. Little bit contradictory? Not for us. For more than 20 years Maple Leaf demonstrates our excitement for everything Canadian. In 1988 we became Canadian citizens, and started a new business with a properly fitting name.

Our food philosophy is very simple. There is nothing better for you then a freshly cooked meal from scratch. Our open concept kitchen, is a hub for all the action. We are always in the middle of constant chopping, cutting, pounding, grilling, stewing, baking, roasting, frying, steaming, poaching, or shortly put cooking. Needless to say we love what we do.

Our menu is greatly influenced by our Czech origins and culture but we whole-heartedly embrace Canadian favourites as well. We are inspired by local food and produce, slow flavourful cooking and healthy eating. Our dishes are made on site from scratch. Our specialities include a variety of snitzels, goulash with dumplings and our famous Borsch. For a truly Canadian experience try our home made 100 percent lean beef burger hot off the grill with a side of poutine. Our authentic apple strudel is baked in-house daily and is served warm.

We are open all day long starting with late breakfasts served until noon, then full menu is available until closing including a wide variety of appetizers and lighter fare. Oiur children's menu has all their favorites and our milkshakes are sure to please. We have a selection of local, old and new world wines along with a fully stocked bar and Pilsner Urquell on tap. Come in for a full meal or a drink and a snack! Enjoy our full menu on our cozy, secluded patio. For meetings or special occasions we have a private dining room that can accommodate up to 30 people.
