About the Business

Welcome to Steel; as a 'style garage’, it’s a small shop with a pretty wide scope. It would be disingenuous to suggest we weren't a fashion retailer but it would be equally wide of the mark to lump us in with your average boutique. We’re perfect for those of you that covet the unusual, beautiful, strange, and humorous.

The shop is also a little bit niche. Located in the heart of Gananoque’s Historic District, steel is a 1,500 square foot gallery of mens and womens clothing, trinkets, industrial design and is the ultimate store for those looking for that special gift, or piece to take home.

The philosophy is simple; provide the “best edited” collection of clothing and accessories in Eastern Ontario, along with premium customer service. Our eclectic environment ensures that shopping at steel isn’t just about the latest bag or the must-have jeans – it’s about the entire experience. Our passion is design and sustainability.
